About this race
Stra-Rsciugni begins at 09:15 from the former Ferriera on via Caduti della Libertà in Rossiglione, a town in the Genova province of Liguria. It is a competitive road race of approximately 8.5 km, organized by A.S.D. Corrinvallestura and typically held in July. The distance allows club runners to compete intensely, offering a challenge beyond a brief town sprint.
The route remains within the Rossiglione area, concentrating on a timed road effort over a middle distance rather than mountain trails. Men and women compete across numerous age categories. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall finishers, the top three in each category, and the largest participating groups. Local support from the municipality, Pro Loco, UISP sportpertutti, the Italian Red Cross, and volunteer groups contributes to the event's atmosphere as a community gathering centered on competitive running.
