SUPER MARATONINA DEL MONTE DELLE TRE CROCI (35)

The Super Maratonina del Monte delle Tre Croci is a 23 km hilly race starting at the stadium in Scandiano, Emilia-Romagna. Although presented as a half marathon, the primary route exceeds the standard distance, ascending into the Emilia hills towards Monte delle Tre Croci. The course begins and ends on the track, featuring consistent elevation changes, two significant ascents, and a sharp descent before the final lap within the stadium. The extended route crosses Scandiano's center, Dinazzano, and Casalgrande Alto, then ascends Monte Babbio, Monte Evangelo, and Monte delle Tre Croci. Monte Evangelo marks the highest point, reaching just under 400 meters. Atletica Scandiano is the organizing body. Previous events attracted approximately 193 participants on a course with limited traffic, occasionally shrouded in fog.
