About this race
The Yodogawa Relay Marathon is a 42 km team relay on the Yodogawa riverbed in Osaka’s Nishinakajima area. Teams work together to cover the full marathon distance, so the focus is on shared pacing, handoffs, and getting everyone to the finish rather than one runner doing the whole race alone.
The course is flat and runs with views toward the Umeda skyline, giving runners an open riverside setting close to central Osaka. After the race, teams can use the paid BBQ facilities nearby, which makes the post-finish gathering part of the day for groups who want to stay together after the run.
