About this race
The Tokyo Toyosu Night Marathon takes place in the evening at a unique location within Toyosu Gururi Park, situated on the waterfront in Koto Ward near the Fish Market Wholesale Building. Held in July, the race begins in the late afternoon and continues into the night. Participants can choose from 5 km, 10 km, or half marathon distances. The 5 km event is open to runners from elementary school age, the 10 km from junior high school age, and the half marathon from high school age, accommodating a broad spectrum of participants.
The race structure is simple: a time limit of 2 hours 30 minutes is given for shorter distances, while half marathoners have 3 hours 30 minutes. The Toyosu location, close to Tokyo Bay and the market district, offers a distinct atmosphere compared to typical city races. Early registration provides a discount, standard registration remains open until shortly before the event, and same-day entries are available at the main reception tent, with PayPay as the sole payment method on race day.
