Eidsvoll Verk 6-timers uses a 538-meter loop within the ski stadium at Eidsvoll Verk, Norway. This is a six-hour ultrarunning event where the winner is determined by the distance covered in the allotted time. The field is small and club-affiliated, with 67 participants, including slightly more women than men. Race morning saw clearing skies just before the start, though a light southerly wind was present on one of the loop’s longer sections. The short loop allows for easy spectating and constant visibility of the runners. Pål Harboe of Casual Running won the men’s event in his first six-hour race. Annette Velde Sande of BFG Bergen Løpeklubb won the women’s race with 76.192 km, completing the marathon in 3:14:27. This performance ranks as the third-best Norwegian women’s six-hour result on record and was the fastest such performance in over a decade.
