Kongskleiven Opp 2026

Kongskleiven Opp is a 5 km terrain race starting from Bekkjarvik Torg in Bekkjarvik. It is built around Kongskleivo, the village’s most popular local walk, and sends runners up toward Kongsfjellet rather than around a flat road loop. The route follows a sherpa-built path through natural terrain to the top of Kongsfjellet, where local legend says a king is buried. On the climb, runners pass Taushaugen, a natural pause point with a view back over Bekkjarvik, and the area can offer sightings of sea eagles and wild sheep.
