Nightrun Trondheim 2026

Nightrun Trondheim begins at 19:00 from the Ferista parking area, with participants using headlamps on a route that is not floodlit. This is a 5.5 km trail race in Trondheim, held in late October. The setup is straightforward: start and finish at Ferista, or begin at the playground in the forest across the road. The race focuses on night running on mixed trails, with reflectors marking the course. The route proceeds counter-clockwise, starting with approximately 2 km on flat terrain around the water. It then ascends for about 1.5 km towards Baklidammen before descending over the final 1.5 km. The terrain consists mostly of gravel trails, with some forest trail and forest floor sections. Hoka and Ledlenser provide a limited selection of trail shoes and headlamps for testing or loan, aligning with the event's practical, gear-oriented nature. Age groups are offered for men and women from under 25 to over 55, with prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers, a medal for all participants, and a prize draw.
