About this race
Starlight Run Wainui is a night trail run and walk held at Wainui Trail Park in Wainuiomata, near Wellington. It is part of Barefoot Sport’s annual Barefoot XTRAIL Series. This event offers a 5K option and an 11K option on off-road trails after dark.
The race takes participants onto bush-clad tracks using head torches, creating a line of lights moving under the night sky. The focus is on exploring Wellington’s trails in a unique way, rather than achieving personal bests.
