Step Up Sky Tower Challenge 2026

SUN, August 2, 2026 · Auckland , New Zealand

About this race

Sky Tower is the focus: participants head inside and ascend toward the summit of the "tallest structure in the Southern Hemisphere." It is a "stair challenge" rather than a typical road race, with the effort directed upward and the fundraising benefiting Blood Cancer New Zealand. Runners, walkers, fitness enthusiasts, and workplace teams will share the same stairwell objective. Some will aim for a specific time, while others will simply undertake a demanding personal challenge. The unique aspect is straightforward and rewarding: individuals and teams have a singular opportunity to ascend New Zealand's tallest structure while raising funds for those affected by blood cancer and serious blood conditions.
