About this race
The 511 Jura Triathlon concludes at the base of Ogrodzieniec Castle, situated amidst the limestone formations of the Krakow-Częstochowa Upland in southern Poland. This September event, headquartered in Podzamcze, features a primary distance comparable to a quarter Ironman: 950 meters swimming, 46 kilometers cycling, and 10 kilometers running.
The name references Mount Janowski, the Jura region's highest point at 511 meters. Poziom 511 Jura Wellness Hotel & SPA, located near the castle and serving as the event hub, organizes the race. The running segment frequently crosses paths winding around limestone outcrops and historic ramparts, distinguishing it from a flat, conventional triathlon course. Participant feedback highlights it as among Poland's most scenic and challenging triathlons.
