The Bieg o Laur Św. Wawrzyńca is a small road-race series in Słupca, Poland, centered on a 10 km asphalt course. The main race has a field limited to 250 participants, giving it the feel of a local event rather than a large urban race. The schedule also features children’s and youth races in the afternoon, along with a family run limited to 100 teams.
The 10 km race begins in Korwin, with organizers providing bus transport to the start line for the run back toward Słupca. The finish line is located at the Municipal Stadium on ul. Gajowa. An unusual aspect of the event is the Polish Championships for Married Couples, which takes place concurrently with the main race. Runners completing the main race and the married-couples championship are eligible for a prize drawing, while family-run participants have their own drawing, and younger runners receive commemorative medals.
