Bieg Pamięci Obrońców Kłecka 2026

Bieg Pamięci Obrońców Kłecka is an evening memorial race held in Kłecko, a town in Wielkopolskie. The start area is located by City Park on Karniszewska Street. Main race participants can choose between 5 km or 10 km distances, while children compete in shorter races ranging from 100 m to 600 m, divided by age group. The Municipal-Communal Cultural Center in Kłecko organizes the event, with assistance from the commune and local volunteer fire departments. It serves to commemorate the Civilian Defenders of Kłecko. The course is an asphalt, marked route beginning and ending near the park. It follows streets such as Karniszewska, Zacisze, Targowa, Dr H. Bujarskiej, and Majdany. The 5 km race features a turnaround point at 2.5 km. The 10 km route extends to a turnaround near the road fork around Biskupice. Chip timing is utilized, and there are participant limits. The schedule places children's races before the 5 km and 10 km starts, integrating families and local runners into the same afternoon and evening program.
