Bieg pod Tysiącletnimi Dębami oraz Bieg Szewczyków

The Run under the Thousand-Year-Old Oaks is a small race day in Kazimierz Biskupi, in Poland's Wielkopolskie region, held in early June. Its Polish name, Bieg pod Tysiącletnimi Dębami, points to the old-oak setting, and the event also uses the name Bieg Szewczyków. The adult programme offers a 10 km main race, a 5 km race, and a 5 km Nordic Walking march, with children's races on the same day. The fields are deliberately limited: 250 places for the main race, 150 for the 5 km run, and 100 for the walk. The 10 km race starts and finishes at the stadium, then goes through the streets of Kazimierz Biskupi before spending most of its distance in Puszcza Bieniszewska. Only about 2 km of the main route is asphalt; the other 8 km are forest paths, making it a woodland run rather than a road race. The 5 km course follows a similar idea, with roughly 2 km on asphalt and 3 km on forest tracks. The day brings together school and preschool races, adult runners, Nordic walkers, and a winners' ceremony after the racing concludes.
