Bieg sąsiada 2026

Bieg Sąsiada is a local 5 km run in Żelechów, with a companion 5.4 km Nordic Walking event called Spacer z Sąsiadem. It is an autumn community race organized by the Volunteer Fire Department in Żelechów and Sołectwo Żelechów, aimed at neighbors seeking a short run or walk distinct from large-city events. The running route crosses the area around Żelechów and Jastrzębnik. The Nordic Walking route consists of two 2.7 km loops. Participants must be at least 12 years old. They receive a bib with a chip and a commemorative medal. Water is provided on the course, along with firefighter pea soup at the finish. Trophies and prizes are awarded to the fastest runners and walkers in overall and age categories. The event's core concept is for local residents to run and walk together.
