Bieg Śladami Łosia is a 7 km race in Kosewo, a village in Poland’s Masurian lake country. It is the third stop in the Biegam Bo Lubię Mazury Grand Prix, a four-event running series in Mrągowo county, and it is scheduled for a Saturday afternoon in late July.
The series uses animal-track names for its races: wild boar in Piecki, deer in Sorkwity, elk in Kosewo, and bear in Mrągowo. The Kosewo event also brings in families, with short children’s races of 0.1 km for the youngest runners, 0.3 km for ages 6 to 8, and a separate race for ages 9 to 11.
