Bieg Terenowy Zgierz Malinka is a cross-country running event based at MOSiR Zgierz Malinka, in the forest area around the Malinka recreation complex in Zgierz, Poland. The main race uses one running path in three versions: 4 km, 8 km, or 12 km, which means one, two, or three laps. Everyone in the main field starts together, then splits naturally by distance. The program also includes a 4 km Nordic walking event and separate races for children and teenagers.
The start, finish, and race office sit by the kayak marina, so the event is tied closely to the Malinka recreation grounds rather than to city streets. Younger runners get short courses around the pond: 800 meters for ages 7-15 and 150 meters for the youngest children. Finishers receive a symbolic raspberry-shaped medal, a small nod to the Malinka name, while the fastest three women and men in each distance receive cups. The race has already passed its tenth edition, and the venue adds a family-friendly setup with a large playground, pumptrack, and water playground nearby.
