Bieg Trzech Kopców is a 13 km race in Krakow connecting three historical mounds: Wanda Mound, Lwów Mound, and Piłsudski Mound. The course combines asphalt and trail segments, notable as Poland’s only city-based mound race, offering a challenging urban hill run distinct from typical road races.
The ascents are steep enough to challenge runners, with the finish located near the Krakow Zoo in Wolski Forest. Participants can extend their visit to the zoo, find a peaceful moment at the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec by the Vistula River, or enjoy a local specialty, maczanka krakowska, a pork-neck sandwich with onion sauce.
