Bieg Szlakiem Wielkiej Niedźwiedzicy is a small summer road race in Lower Silesia, based around Wińsko and Zalew Słup. Runners can choose 10 km or 5 km, with electronic timing and a field capped at 150 people, offering a more local and controlled atmosphere than a large-city event. The race is organized by the Municipal Sports, Tourism and Recreation Center in Wińsko and takes place during the Days of Wińsko.
The route utilizes county, municipal, and national roads in the Wińsko area, connecting the town with the landscape surrounding the Słup reservoir. It attracts running enthusiasts alongside individuals involved in physical activity and environmental protection. The race holds the “Kraina Łęgów Odrzańskich Poleca” Quality Mark, a local endorsement linked to the Odra wetlands region, and its established history makes it a fixture of Wińsko’s summer calendar.
