Calisia Triathlon 2026

Calisia Triathlon takes place in late August in Kalisz, with the race center located by Aquapark on ul. Sportowa. The event features two primary distances: a 1/4 Iron Man (950 m swim, 45 km bike, 10.5 km run) and a 1/8 Iron Man (475 m swim, 22.5 km bike, 5.25 km run). Over 700 athletes are anticipated, drawing participants from throughout Poland beyond just local club members. The swim occurs in the Prosna River. The cycling route utilizes major city roads including ul. Lodzka, Szlak Bursztynowy, Częstochowska, ul. Sportowa, and Wal Matejki. The run course winds through City Park and the historic center. The course is designed for speed, particularly the bike leg, offering extended straightaways rather than a complex urban circuit. Off the course, Kalisz offers local attractions such as the early medieval settlement at the Archaeological Reserve, a view from the town hall tower, and the city's traditional thin, crispy wafers, Andruty Kaliskie.
