About this race
The Charytatywny Bieg dla Wiktorii Rembacz is a charity race day in Nowołoskoniec, Wielkopolskie, supporting Wiktoria Rembacz's treatment and rehabilitation for Rett syndrome. The event offers adults 5 km and 10 km cross-country runs, a 5 km Nordic Walking option on the 5 km course, and children’s races ranging from 50 m to 800 m by age group.
The start and finish are located at the Volunteer Fire Department station, with the race office situated in the village community center. The primary routes traverse forest paths and a powiat road. A distinct firefighter challenge requires participants to complete 1 km in full combat gear. The inaugural event attracted over 300 participants, welcoming runners, Nordic walkers, families, children, and supporters, not exclusively competitive racers. Local organizations involved in the organization include the Iskra Dobra Social Committee, the village administration, OSP Nowołoskoniec, and the local housewives’ and farmers’ circle, which also manages the food area.
