About this race
Dębowiec Nocna Pętla is an evening running and Nordic walking event in Bielsko-Biała, centered on Dębowiec at the base of the local cable car. The start is located at the lower station of the Dębowiec cable car. The field includes both runners and walkers, with recent participation around 200 runners and nearly 100 Nordic walking entrants. It is organized by BBOSiR with Fundacja Strefa Kobiet, supported by the mayor of Bielsko-Biała.
The finish-area routine includes a meal at the Dębowiec 520 inn, giving the event a social atmosphere after the competition. The series is still young but growing: runner numbers have tripled and Nordic walking numbers have doubled since the first edition. The competition has intensified, with an earlier winning time now placing only fifth. The event also has a charitable aspect, collecting funds for the Bielsko Oncology Center and for Ania Ryba’s therapy. Mountain runner Marcin Kubica has appeared as a special guest, offering pre-start advice, and Bieg KoBBiet winner Zuzanna Wołąkiewicz has also participated.
