About this race
The Dolnośląski Festiwal Biegów Górskich is a four-day mountain running festival held in Lądek-Zdrój, a spa town in Lower Silesia near the Golden Mountains. Taking place in July, it features 10 routes, ranging from a 10 km distance to ultra distances of 170 km and 240 km. The primary race is approximately half-marathon length, making the festival accessible to participants beyond just ultra specialists.
The Golden Mountains Trail is a notable international race, covering 33 km with roughly 1,500 meters of elevation gain and loss. This festival is included in the Golden Trail Series, with participants competing for spots in the final event in Italy. Both elite mountain and ultra runners compete alongside amateurs, reflecting the scale of the event. The DFBG is one of Poland’s largest trail-running festivals and is currently in its fourteenth edition.
