The Golden Mountains Trail is the 33 km Golden Trail Series race held during the Dolnośląski Festiwal Biegów Górskich in Lądek-Zdrój. This mountain-running festival takes place in Poland’s Lower Silesia region. The course is a single loop covering approximately 1,500 meters of elevation gain and descent, utilizing dirt roads and mountain paths. It is rated as medium difficulty, with a participant cap of 750 runners and a 7-hour time limit.
The top three men and women will secure Golden Tickets to the Golden Trail Series final in Ledro Valley, Italy. The festival also offers supporting races, aid and hydration stations, post-race food and beverages, bag storage, changing facilities, restrooms, an expo, and a pasta party. Participants are required to carry essential mountain-race equipment: an active phone with roaming, a cup or bottle, race bib and chip, identification, an emergency foil blanket, and a headlamp for potential use after dark. Fundacja MARATONY GÓRSKIE organizes the event.
