Festiwal Biegowy pod Chełmcem is a summer running festival in Szczawno-Zdrój, Poland, starting from Dworzysko on aleja Spacerowa, at the foot of Chełmiec Mountain. The adult program includes several trail and road distances. Recent editions featured short races around 4.5-5 km, middle races around 10-11.5 km, and longer options from about 16 km up to a half-marathon distance. The event also includes children’s running; one reported kids’ race had 200 young starters alongside 145 adult participants.
The main named races are Bieg Uzdrowiskowy, Bieg Idy, and Bieg Babinicza. Bieg Uzdrowiskowy is the easiest adult option, roughly 4.5 km with about 100 m of climbing. Bieg Idy is shorter than a half marathon but steeper, around 11.5 km with about 500 m of elevation gain. Bieg Babinicza is the longest named race in available results, listed at 21.5 km with about 400 m of climbing in one edition. Entry limits were set at 500 adults and 300 children, suggesting a local mountain-running festival rather than a large mass race.
