About this race
Gwiazdy Podlasia connects eight running events throughout Poland's Podlaskie Voivodeship, all coordinated by the Bialystok Biega Foundation. The series spans the entire year, commencing with the winter Sybir Memory Run in Bialystok. It continues with May road races, including the PKO Night 5k and PKO Bialystok Half Marathon, and concludes with a 10 km race celebrating Independence at the season's end.
The series comprises short road races, a half marathon, a charity team relay, and forest running. Participants can include the Plum Ekiden relay, the Night 5k and Fast 10k from the Bialystok Biega events, and any distance at Bison Ultra-Trail in the Knyszyn Forest, with distances ranging from 10 km to 100 km. To qualify for the Gwiazda Podlasia medal, a runner must complete five of the eight races, with participation verified against official results. This initiative was established for the Bialystok Biega Foundation's 15th anniversary, offering recreational runners a defined objective to engage with both urban courses and natural trails within a single season.
