About this race
The Poland Ultra Triathlon is an IUTA ultra-triathlon series held in Łowicz and Mysłaków during the summer. It features distances significantly exceeding a standard Ironman. The current IUTA schedule lists 4x and 5x ultra-triathlon races. The inaugural Poland Ultra Triathlon was even more demanding, using a 10-time Ironman format: 38 km swimming, 1,800 km cycling, and 422 km running. This extensive challenge earned the event its direct nickname, “Endurance Hell.”
The race is centered around Łowicz and the nearby Mysłaków area. Earlier editions utilized the family home of Tomasz Lus as the event headquarters. Local information indicates a closed-road course consisting of a 4.2 km loop. This configuration transforms the race into a series of repeated efforts on a circuit, rather than a linear progression. It is Poland’s first ultratriathlon event, attracting international athletes instead of solely local competitors.
