Krajna Ultra Trail is a 12-hour ultramarathon on a roughly 10 km loop around Lake Wapieńskie in Głubczyn, within Nadleśnictwo Zdrojowa Góra and Gmina Krajenka. Runners have one objective: complete as many full laps as possible before the time limit. Partial laps do not count, so the outcome hinges on finished circuits, pacing, and the decision of whether another lap is worth starting.
The loop format makes the race manageable and efficient. After each lap, runners must check in at the race office. The organizer supplies a checkpoint and a refreshment point with drinks, snacks, and a hot meal following each completed circuit. The field is limited to 100 adult participants, making it a small ultra rather than a crowded event. The rules emphasize fair play, with disqualification for course cutting or littering. Runners can use course markings, a map, and a GPX file to navigate the route.
