The Kraków Independence Run begins at 11:11 AM in Kraków, aligning with the event's Independence Day theme. It takes place annually in November on Poland's Independence Day, featuring an 11 km main race around Błonia and city streets. The program also offers the Kraków Independence Mile, a 1918 m distance that can be run or completed with Nordic walking, alongside shorter children's races. The main race has a 90-minute time limit, and its 11 km course is officially certified by Polish Athletics for the 10 km point. The start and finish are located on the pedestrian path at Kraków's Błonia, near al. 3 Maja and Jordan Park. The route then proceeds through streets and riverside sections, including Salwator, Zwierzyniecki Bridge, Dębnicki Bridge, Tyniecka Street, Kościuszki Street, and the Vistula boulevards. Over 2,000 participants, including club runners, casual runners, families, Nordic walkers, and outdoor enthusiasts, share this Independence Day program. Finishers within the time limit receive a medal, and the race supports a charitable cause while commemorating Poland's independence.
