Lotto Triathlon Energy Chełmża 2026

Lotto Triathlon Energy Chełmża takes place in late summer in Chełmża, located approximately 25 km from Toruń. The town square serves as the transition area and finish line. Energy Events organizes this event as part of the Lotto Triathlon Energy series, which also includes races in Lublin, Radom, Gniewino, and Mrągowo. Participants can choose between a 1/4 ironman distance (950 m swim, 45 km bike, 10.55 km run) or a 1/8 ironman distance (475 m swim, 22.5 km bike, 5.275 km run). Relay teams are available for both distances, accommodating more than just solo competitors. The swim portion occurs in Lake Chełmżyńskie, recognized as one of the largest and cleanest lakes in the local plateau region. A memorable aspect for racers is the swim exit, which involves climbing 47 steps to reach the transition zone. The run course includes a unique feature for Chełmża: a segment along a boardwalk extending over the lake. This event attracts athletes who prefer fast competition, yet the town square setting and community involvement create a town-wide race atmosphere rather than that of an isolated sports facility.
