Mistrzostwa Śląska w Kolarstwie Górskim XCO o Puchar

The Silesian MTB XCO Championship for the Gliwice Mayor's Cup takes place in Las Łabędzki and the area around the retention tanks near Kąpielisko Leśne in Gliwice. This autumn cross-country mountain bike race features a race office at Hotel Leśny on Toszecka Street, a morning technical briefing, course reconnaissance, and the first starts in the late morning. Participants require a mountain bike or gravel bike and a helmet. The organizers mark the course several days in advance and supply a GPX file. The competition is divided into numerous age and ability categories, ranging from children on balance bikes covering 350 meters to elite men and licensed riders completing seven laps, approximately 22 kilometers. Separate categories exist for children, juniors, elite riders, masters, licensed racers, and unlicensed riders, allowing the event to function as both a regional championship and a local mass-entry cycling event. Several youth categories hold Silesian Championship status, and the City of Gliwice provides support. Pre-registered participants receive a meal, and winners are awarded medals, diplomas, and prizes. The race utilizes electronic timing, with the Chief Judge managing protests.
