About this race
Orient Gravel - Mazurski Zdrój Gołdap is a mid-summer gravel bike race held in Gołdap, the sole spa town in Warmia and Mazury. Participants select from 70 km, 120 km, or 200 km routes, commencing and concluding at Polana in the Kumiecie Forest. The location is distinctively northern for Mazury, featuring pine-scented air, the aroma of salt from the graduation towers, and gravel roads extending towards Poland's border.
The courses traverse the Romincka Forest, Garbate Masuria, and the northern Suwałki region. The terrain includes climbs, descents, and open vistas, moving beyond simple forest paths. The event also offers shorter races for children and adults not seeking the full gravel distances, establishing it as a comprehensive cycling day in Gołdap rather than solely a long-distance competition.
