About this race
The Polish Bike Tour - Gryf begins and ends at the Centrum Żeglarskie in Szczecin, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. This May Day cycling event offers three distance options: a 220 km road route, a 120 km Gravel/MTB route, and a 200 km Gravel/MTB route. The road course consists primarily of asphalt with minimal fine gravel, whereas the two off-road routes are approximately 40% asphalt and 60% gravel or terrain. Riders depart in waves, starting with the longest road group, followed by the 200 km gravel riders, and then the 120 km gravel field.
The distances position this event as an endurance ride rather than a short city tour, featuring moderate climbing: around 300 meters for the 120 km route and approximately 500 meters for both longer routes. Each route is limited to 200 participants and includes Open, Women, and Masters 50+ classifications, with awards for the top three in each category across all distances. The start package contains useful items like a cycling cap, bottle, bandana, race number, stickers, live tracking or timing, and a GPX track. Upon finishing, riders receive a medal, access to showers, a two-course recovery meal, drinks, snacks, a chill zone, and a bike wash.
