About this race
The Jaworski Half Marathon is a 21.1 km road race in Jawor, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland, contested for the Mayor of Jawor's Cup. It typically occurs in late spring on the Polish running calendar, with recent editions held in May or June. The race has a history spanning over thirty editions, and one jubilee event attracted close to 200 participants.
The course departs Jawor, winding through villages such as Piotrowice, Chelmiec, Myslinow, and Mysliborz, before concluding at the Jawornik Recreation Center. Medals and prizes are awarded to finishers at the center, where a meal is also provided. The event's broader program features a Firefighter's Run and a Lower Silesian firefighters' championship, integrating the open half marathon with service-specific competitions from the region.
