About this race
The Qatar T100 is a 100 km triathlon held in Doha and Lusail. The course includes a 2 km swim, an 80 km bike ride, and an 18 km run. This event is part of the T100 Triathlon series and takes place in December, featuring both age-group athletes and elite professionals on the same schedule.
The swim occurs in the Arabian Gulf, with the bike and run segments crossing Doha and Lusail. Lusail Boulevard serves as the event's central hub. The race weekend also includes a sprint triathlon and separate bike/run events, catering to participants not aiming for the full 100 km distance. Qatar recently hosted the T100 World Championship Final, where Kate Waugh secured the women's world title and Hayden Wilde claimed his first world title, adding a recent professional competition narrative to the event's mass-participation aspect.
