Turkish Airlines Iron Dragon Triathlon 2026

The Turkish Airlines Iron Dragon Triathlon is an annual event in Budzyń, near Krakow, taking place since 2013. It ranks among southern Poland’s larger triathlons, attracting hundreds of participants across standard, sprint, super sprint, and relay categories. The standard course involves a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike ride, and 10 km run. The sprint distance is halved to 0.75 km, 20 km, and 5 km, respectively. A super sprint option is also available, along with the Dragonik Aquathlon for children. Age-group distances for the aquathlon vary, from swim-only events for the youngest participants to a 400 m swim and 2 km run for those aged 13-14.
