About this race
Uliczna Mila is a 1,609-metre street mile in Chorzów, Silesia, held within TAURON Park Śląski as part of a charitable running festival. The main mile shares the program with Parkowa Piątka, a 5 km street race, and both routes remain entirely on the park’s alleys, not city streets. This edition is scheduled for late May, and the measured courses hold PZLA and World Athletics certification, attracting runners aiming for personal bests.
The festival caters to various runners: the program features the mile, the 5 km, children’s races, age-category prizes, and a running village with additional attractions. Its charitable aspect also includes the Charytatywna Mila Mikołajkowa, a separate Santa Claus-themed 1,609-metre run held entirely on an athletics track. That track version started at the Municipal Stadium in Chorzów and later moved to Superauto.pl Stadion Śląski, connecting the series to a major regional sports venue.
