Ultras Oliwski Bieg Wokół Radości is a September trail running event in Gdańsk, located in the green Oliwa district and the Oliwa Forests. The main race covers 21.95 km, similar to a half-marathon, with a separate 10 km Olivia Centre Run and children’s races also scheduled. It is a local running day focused on forest paths, parks, and steady off-road effort, distinct from a city-road race.
The routes are situated around the Valley of Joy, offering runners varied terrain and abundant natural surroundings near the city. The event attracts trail runners, nature enthusiasts, individuals using it to prepare for marathons or mountain ultras, and families participating in the shorter races. A notable aspect of the series is ParaUltras Oliwski, a race for individuals with intellectual disabilities, introduced after the initial event and subsequently expanded. The sixth edition continues to emphasize shared sport, mutual support, and inclusivity for various types of runners.
