YoungRun2 is a charity cross-country obstacle race in Ląd nad Wartą, Wielkopolskie. The start and finish are located on the island near the monastery at ul. Klasztorna 31. This event takes place on the last weekend of July. It features a 1.4 km children’s race and a main race for participants aged 15 to 99. The main race covers a distance between 6 and 8 km and includes over 20 obstacles, while the children’s course has approximately 10 obstacles. With entries limited to 300, it is a local event rather than a large-scale race.
The course winds through the meadows and forests of Nadwarciański Landscape Park, offering a muddy, off-road experience focused on short-distance effort and obstacles rather than road pacing. The event promotes cross-country running, healthy activity, and the town of Ląd. Its central purpose is charity, supporting Olek Ptaszyński from Słupca, a 14-year-old beneficiary with serious neurological conditions. Both children and open-category runners receive start packages and awards. The day includes a group warm-up, the kids’ race, and the main race.
