Thomar Urban Race 2026

The Thomar Urban Race will take place on October 17, 2026. It is an urban trail race covering approximately 15 km. Participants will run through historic streets, green spaces, and notable landmarks including the Aqueduct of Pegões, Mata dos Sete Montes, Templar Castle, and the area around the Convent of Christ. The race is part of the Santa Iria Fair program and is considered medium difficulty. A 5 km walk is also available, covering key points of interest in the city. The event is open to both federated and non-federated athletes and aims to combine athletic challenge with the exploration of Tomar's history and heritage.
