Dalsland X-Country begins and ends at Långevi in Bengtsfors, Sweden. Participants select between a 35 km or a 57 km route. This cross-country cycling event crosses the Dalsland countryside and accommodates mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and e-bikes. It takes place annually in May.
The course combines views of lakes and canals with meadows, forest paths, log crossings, rocky terrain, quick descents, sharp ascents, and technical segments. The 57.4 km long course includes 1,105 m of elevation gain, ascending from 93 m to a peak of 194 m. This profile challenges strong cyclists while remaining accessible to recreational riders. Both distances offer an Adventure Class, providing times without official rankings. The long distance additionally features a Sportmotion class with awards for top finishers. Children aged 10 and under can participate in DXC Kids for free, with a short course and an even shorter option for the youngest. The course is also available for riding outside of the official race day; local advice suggests it is optimal after the frost has thawed and the ground has partially dried.
