About this race
Jättelångt, meaning "very far" in Swedish, describes this approximately 70 km trail race from Grisslehamn to Norrtälje. Held annually, typically on a Saturday in mid-June since its 2009 inception, the race begins in Grisslehamn, a Roslagen coast fishing village north of Stockholm, and concludes in Norrtälje.
Participants can compete individually, or as relay teams dividing the course into five segments: roughly 10 km, 15 km, 21 km, 7 km, and 15 km. A children's race, Jättekort ("very short"), also takes place in Norrtälje.
