About this race
Midsommarjoggen is a 7.2 km race held in June within the Rynningeviken nature reserve in Örebro. It begins and ends at Stora Hjortstorps Gård. The organizers describe it as a “löparfest,” a running party. The event accommodates various paces, allowing participants to run competitively, jog casually, or walk the course, enabling friends, families, and colleagues to compete together regardless of their individual goals.
The course consists mainly of easy gravel roads, featuring sections alongside the water and through the forest within the reserve. It passes Rävgången and Naturens Hus before looping back to Stora Hjortstorps Gård. An after-run event with food and beverages takes place there following the race. A separate KidsRun, approximately 600 meters long, is available for younger participants, contributing to a family-oriented atmosphere for the evening rather than a strictly competitive race day.
