About this race
Täljemilen is a 10 km road race at Geneta Sportfält in Södertälje, run as a fast autumn mile for runners seeking a clear chance at a good time. The entire course uses bike and walking paths, with asphalt underfoot from start to finish. The route is officially measured by a Swedish Athletics Federation course measurer. Water is available halfway, at 5 km, and again at the finish.
Enhörna IF organizes the race. The setup is simple: come ready to run, use the changing rooms if needed, and chase the clock on a flat, controlled course. The field is aimed especially at runners aiming for a personal best, but the prize structure still allows for both competition and luck. The top three women and men receive prizes, and around 20 prizes are raffled among all participants. Instead of giving out medals, the organizer donates money to the Children's Cancer Foundation for every registered runner.
