Uppsala Marathon (inkl. DM i marathon)

Uppsala Marathon starts and finishes at Uppsala Castle, so the race is tied to one of the city's clearest landmarks from the first step. It is a road running event with a marathon, a half marathon, and a relay for four-person teams, and it also serves as the district marathon championship. The course mixes central Uppsala with quieter stretches by Ekoln and Fyrisån, then reaches the old burial mounds in Gamla Uppsala. Competitive runners, recreational runners, relay teams, and spectators all fit into the same event, which gives it more of a city race feel than a small standalone marathon.
