Bristol Epic Trail Sponsored By GORUCK
The Bristol Epic Trail Ruck is a trail event at Ashton Court Estate in Long Ashton, near Bristol, offering 10k or 6k routes. It is part of the Epic Trail Ruck Series, sponsored by GORUCK. Participants can enter as a weighted ruck or a standard trail run. Each distance has three categories: Pro Ruck, Novice Ruck, and Trail Run. For Pro Ruck, men carry 25lb/11.3kg and women carry 15lb/6.8kg. For Novice Ruck, men carry 15lb/6.8kg and women carry 10lb/4.5kg. The ruck categories use GORUCK Rucker 4.0 backpacks supplied at the event.
The Ashton Court route features challenging climbs and undulating terrain, with open views of the surrounding area. All participants in the same category start together and receive a finish time. This setup accommodates individuals racing competitively, those new to rucking, and trail runners not carrying weight. Overall winners in each category receive prizes. SUPERHUMAN SPORTS organizes the event, focusing on outdoor venues and fitness challenges for both everyday athletes and more competitive participants.
Black To The Trails 2026
Make history at the world's most ethnically diverse trail running event. The atmosphere and scenery suit all abilities. A 1K run is available for the whole family at Black To The Trails.
Scare Bear Run 2026 - Wales
Scare Bear Run is a themed running event in Wales, centered on a 7-hour time challenge. Participants select their own distance, starting with a minimum of 3km and adding laps as desired within the time limit.
A lap is 4.37 miles (7km), though the organizer might use a 3.28-mile loop if course conditions necessitate. Runners of all abilities are welcome, including walkers. The finisher's reward is a medal inspired by the Care Bears.
Cardiff 1.5k, 5k, 10k & Half Marathon MoRun
MoRun Cardiff is a Movember running event held at Coopers Field in Bute Park, near the city end and central Cardiff. It features four distances on the same morning: a Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, and a 1.5k Mini MoRun for children and families. The Half Marathon begins first, followed by the 5k and 10k, with the Mini MoRun later. Registration opens early, race numbers and timing chips are collected on site, and all distances are chip timed with instant results at the finish.
The route follows the paths of Bute Park, with runners grouped by estimated finish time and staggered at the start to prevent path congestion. The field is broad: half marathon runners, 10k and 5k runners, children, families, friends, first-timers, fundraisers, and those attending for the Movember spirit. Fancy dress is part of the day, and participants are encouraged to grow a moustache or paint one on. Every finisher receives a MoRun medal and headband, with additional prizes for fastest MoBro, fastest MoSista, best dressed, and best Mo. The event supports Movember, raising money and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.
Tata Steel Richard Burton 10K
The Tata Steel Richard Burton 10K begins and ends in Cwmafan, Port Talbot. Each autumn, runners participate in a community road race through the Welsh valleys. The event is open to participants aged 15 and up. It also features the Runtech Kevin Webber Mini Miler, a one-mile family fun run. The 10K course accommodates elite runners competing in Welsh road and veterans championships, while also welcoming local runners, novices, club athletes, and individuals connected to Port Talbot’s steel heritage.
The race incorporates significant local history beyond a typical town 10K. It commemorates Richard Burton, the Welsh actor born in the region, and remembers three young local men who died in 1981. Shaun Tobin has managed the race for over 25 years, ensuring its connection to Port Talbot and preventing it from becoming a nondescript mass event. All proceeds benefit local charities and community groups, with over £250,000 raised for grassroots causes since its inception. Many Tata Steel employees typically participate as runners and volunteers, contributing to the day's blend of workplace, town, and running community spirit.
Cardiff 1,5 km, 5 km, 10 km & Semi-Marathon MoRun
The Cardiff MoRun takes place in November at Bute Park, Coopers Field, offering races of 1.5 km, 5 km, 10 km, and a half marathon. Races begin in the morning, and chip timing is used for all distances, including the children's Mini MoRun, providing runners with immediate results. The atmosphere is intentionally festive, with a clear structure: choose a short family-friendly run, a standard 5k or 10k, or the full 21.0975 km half marathon.
The courses cover Cardiff city grounds and public park areas. The 5k, 10k, and half marathon are each designed as single-loop routes. This event is part of the larger MoRunning series supporting Movember, which raises funds and awareness for men's health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Participants can donate during registration or create a fundraising page. All MoRunners receive a medal and a MoRunning headband. The event welcomes everyday runners, families, children, and friends, not exclusively club racers.
Afan Forest Half Marathon & 10K
Trail Revolution Margam Trail Races
Trail Revolution Margam Trail Races are November trail runs in Margam Park, with 5km, 10km, and half marathon options. The setting is parkland and forest rather than road, and the routes use undulating trails that make the event more about handling changing ground than chasing a flat fast time.
The half marathon starts first in the morning, followed by the 10km and then the 5km, so runners can choose anything from a short forest race to a longer test around Margam. The event sits under the Trail Revolution banner and is aimed at runners who want hills, woodland, and a tougher surface underfoot.
MoRun Bristol
MoRun Bristol takes place at Ashton Court Park, near Bristol, offering races for children and adults. The event features a 1.5k Mini MoRun, a 5k, a 10k, and a half marathon, accommodating families, beginners, club runners, and those increasing their distance. All races use chip timing for immediate results upon finishing.
The Bristol course is set within Ashton Court Park, providing a park-run atmosphere instead of a city-road race. The series supports Movember, raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Participants can donate during registration or create a fundraising page via Movember or JustGiving. All finishers receive a MoRun medal and headband, with refreshments available at the finish line. Additional prizes are awarded for categories including fastest MoBro, fastest MoSista, best dressed, and best moustache.
The Smurf Run - Wales
Newport 10k November 2026
The Newport 10K begins and ends at Rodney Parade, the home ground of Dragons RFC and Newport County AFC. This 10K takes place in late November in Newport, starting at 09:00 on roads closed to traffic through the city centre. Spectators can find good vantage points near the stadium, and the race village offers refreshments and partner giveaways post-run. Entry includes chip timing, complimentary race photos, post-race items, and a themed medal.
