Recurring Half Marathon races near Corvallis

Races that repeat — weekly, monthly or yearly

Run to Stay Warm Presented by Eugene Marathon
SUN NOV 22
Run to Stay Warm begins and ends at Downtown Riverfront Park in Eugene. The half marathon starts first, followed soon after by the 5K and 10K. This event is designed for cold-weather runners and walkers, with the main distances sharing a common start area. A free kids race is held before the longer events, allowing families to participate together without everyone needing to enter a full-distance race. The kids course is a short, approximately 400-meter out-and-back along the river path. Half marathoners have access to pacers from 1:30 to 2:30, in 10-minute increments, making the race suitable for those aiming for a specific finish time. Participants in the half marathon, 10K, and 5K receive a chip-timed bib, a Run to Stay Warm beanie, and a finisher medal. Each registration includes a donation to the EWEB Customer Care program. Post-race, runners can enjoy beer from Viking Brewing (for those 21+), coffee from Palace Bakery, hot cider from Alpine Cider, and grilled cheese and snacks from Franz Bakery. Awards are presented to overall, masters, and age-group winners across the main distances.
St. Patrick's Spring Fling Trail Run
SAT MAR 20
The St. Patrick's Spring Fling Trail Run is a March race held at Alsea Falls in Oregon, offering half marathon, 10K, and 5K distances. Starts are staggered in the morning, with the half marathon beginning first, followed by the 10K, and then the 5K. Packet pickup begins after 8:00 a.m., and the 5K is limited to 50 runners. The half marathon provides an early start for walkers and slower runners needing more time to reach the mid-course cutoff. Participants unsure about reaching the checkpoint near mile 7 by 12:30 p.m. should request this early start on race day. Volunteers assisting with parking or registration receive a free race entry, sweep runners get an entry to the Marys Peak Trail Run, and a pint glass is included with each registration.
Mudslinger Trail Run
SAT APR 17
The Mudslinger Trail Run is an Oregon trail-running series held at the Oregon Garden. It offers runners a range of distances, including 5K, 10K, 50K, 100K, and 100-mile ultramarathons. This variety allows the event to accommodate beginner trail runners, families, and seasoned ultra runners. The courses are challenging, with aid stations available for those running the longer distances. The event attracts a broad community of participants, not just specialists, and concludes with a finish line gathering.

About Half Marathon races in Corvallis

Corvallis Training Notes

Corvallis hosts 5 Half Marathon races in 2026 within 80 km of the city centre — upcoming dates, recurring series, and other races nearby, all in one place.

Locals run the Willamette Riverfront, Oregon State University campus, Avery Park, and Bald Hill when they want dirt underfoot. Avery Park connects to the Willamette River on a route that runs about 6 miles. Bald Hill gives locals 3 to 6 miles of trails and a terrific vantage point over all of Corvallis. Heart of the Valley Runners keeps the scene steady with group runs and track workouts almost every day. Corvallis Fall Festival Run, Resolution Run, Run for the Hills, Condor 25K, and Marys Peak Trail Run sit on the anchor race list.

Locals ride everywhere here, and about 11% of Corvallis residents commute by bike. Mid-Valley Bicycle Club has been centered in Corvallis since 1974, and MVBC runs weekly rides, multi-day tours, and the Covered Bridge Bicycle Tour. Corvallis Composite MTB gives the dirt side a home. Decker Ridge is the local road test, and the Decker route ascends the locally famous Decker Ridge as a rite of passage for serious road riders. The Oak Creek-McCulloch-Dimple Hill-Vineyard Mountain Loop gains 960 m over 41.3 km. C2C Bike Route gains 1,384 m over 90 km.

Spring through early summer gives Corvallis its best training window, especially May and June. Summer stays warm, dry, and sunny, so locals stack base miles early and keep intervals tight before the heat builds. July and August put ripe huckleberries and salmonberries along the Corvallis-to-Coast Trail. Winter turns mild and wet, with persistent overcast skies and rare snow that usually lasts less than a day. The northwest hills often see more snow, and midwinter fog can sit all day after long rain. Runners move toward pavement, and riders watch visibility before Z2 rides or gravel days.
