18th Annual Breezy Point 5K 2026

The Breezy Point 5K is a free annual run, walk, and bike event on Island Lake in Duluth, Minnesota. It starts at 9 a.m., with a DJ and bib and shirt pickup beginning at 8 a.m. The event is open to all ages; children need their own registration, and a virtual option is available for those unable to attend in person. Free shirts are offered, with size guarantees tied to pre-registration for participants age 13 and older. The route uses a mix of hard-packed gravel and blacktop, suitable for walkers and stroller-pushers, and also works as a 5K race. Pets are not allowed on the course. Families and groups can register under a team name so bibs and shirts are bundled for one pickup. The race benefits MN Adult & Teen Challenge’s Duluth Campus, and donations are optional online or on race morning, even though entry and shirts are free.
