3 Bridges 5K & 10K 2027

The 3 Bridges 5K & 10K is an Augusta race held on the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area’s River Levee Trail. Participants can choose between in-person 5K and 10K races, or virtual versions of either distance. The in-person events begin and end at the Lake Olmstead Trailhead. The 5K follows a paved out-and-back course suitable for runners and walkers. The 5K route crosses three bridges spanning the Savannah River and the Augusta Canal. The 10K follows the same path for its initial 3 miles. It then continues along the canal path beyond the pump station before returning to Lake Olmstead. A portion of the race proceeds is donated to the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area to support trail maintenance and improvements. The event was recognized as “Best 5K in Augusta.” Virtual participants may submit their times within the designated race window, though these results are not eligible for awards.
