About this race
This Mothers' Day benefit run honors the memory of Kelly Watanabe, a lifelong runner and marathoner with strong ties to the University of Hawai'i - Maui College. Kelly was a wellness advocate, educator, and community volunteer, completing races in all 50 states, Japan, and Canada. A food drive for the Maui Food Bank accompanies the run.
