About this race
This challenging trail race takes you through the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area. You'll gain 1,023 ft of elevation along the Blue Heron Loop Trail and Horse Trail, encountering gorge views, Class IV whitewater rapids, sandstone bluffs, and waterfalls. Climb wooden step ladders and squeeze through the Crack-in-the-Rock passage. Spots are limited to 100 runners.
